Fury Summer Lacrosse Camp, Grades 3-10
4 days, 6/27/22 to 6/30/22, half-day from 10am to1pm
The Fury Summer Lacrosse Camp teaches and develops individual/team lacrosse skills and techniques. The daily sessions will focus on teaching the key fundamentals of lacrosse to both the new and experienced player.
Daily drills will both hone the necessary skills to pass, shoot, dodge, and defend as well as emphasize safety, fun, and passion for the great sport of lacrosse. Position-based skill work will be incorporated as well as goalie training.
Players will be grouped by age, position, experience, and skill level. Daily camp sessions will include drills, positional skills, fundamental development, small competitions, small-sided games, and air-conditioned snack time.
Staff: Fury coaching staff, outside high school coaches, college-level athletes and coaches, and sometimes guest appearances.
* Required Equipment: Certified lacrosse equipment (stick, helmet, shoulder & arm pads, gloves, mouthpiece, cleats and running shoes)
* Daily Meal is included, bagel with cream cheese or butter, fruit, and drink.
Typical Camp Day
9:45 am - Arrival
10:00 am - Camp Session Opener - Run and Stretch
10:15 am - Instructional Session #1 (water break)
10:35 am - Instructional Session #2 (water break)
10:55 am - Competitive Drill Session #1 (water break)
11:15 am - Competition Drill Session #2 or Competition Challenge
11:35 am - Air-conditioned Snack Time
12:05 pm - Small-sided Games (water breaks during and between games)
12:55 pm - Huddle, Review and Closing
